Adult Day Care of Calvert County can help you boost your contribution by reducing your tax liability, using Maryland’s Community Investment Tax Credits (CTIC), thus increasing the impact with investments and donations to Adult Day Care of Calvert County’s approved project. Individuals and businesses receive a 50% Maryland tax credit for eligible donations of $500.00 or more.
TURN A CONTRIBUTION OF $500 OR MORE INTO A TAX CREDIT OF $250 OR MORE!
State of Maryland is offering a special tax credit to those of you who support our work. The state’s goal is to encourage more giving to nonprofits like us who serve at risk populations like the elderly and disabled adults we serve with our adult medical day care program. “Businesses and individuals that donate to qualified organization’s approved project(s) can earn tax credits equal to 50% of the value of the money, goods or real property contribution. These tax credits are in addition to the deductions on both Federal and State taxes as a result of the charitable contribution.” The goal of Adult Day Care of Calvert County is to raise $30,000.00 in operating support for improvements in transportation, office technology, and our care team. Half of this amount ($15,000.00) has been allocated for tax credits to eligible Maryland donors supporting our project. With these tax credits, we can turn a contribution of $500 or more into a tax credit of $250 or more for the donor.
